Great Langdale | Bridal session

So excited to share this extra special bridal session. Carol and Shane did one of what I think is the most romantic things ever and I even used to dream of doing it myself; they snuck off to Iceland to get married and didn't tell a soul! It was even a surprise for their 9 year old daughter Izzy-Rose. They surprised her with a trip to Iceland then told her on the morning of the wedding what was happening. It doesn't end there - they are also having a baby, so baby bump got to be there on the wedding day as well! A week after their return I whisked them off to a stunning location in the Lake district with an Icelandic feel and they braved the almost freezing conditions. I have known Carol, Shane and Izzy for many years and it was an absolute honour to take these photos for them.

Contax 645. Canon 1V. Kodak Portra 400, 800 and Ektar +2. Wonderful develop and scan by UK Film Lab as always.

  1. As ive said before Molly, if we could have, we would have taken you with us to Iceland. The photos you capture are so unique and definitely my favourites. I love each and every one if them!
Thank you for taking us to Great Langdale the scenery was stunning. Another treat for me was to be able to wear my wedding dress not once but twice, not many brides are able to say that :-) xxxx

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words Carol! It was a special day and an honour for me to tell a bit of your story. It will be lovely showing little bump in years to come :-) And getting to wear your wonderful vintage wedding dress twice is a bit fabulous!! Xxx

  2. Beautiful! Love the scenery and I always love the way you "pose" your subjects. They look so relaxed and at ease in front of the camera. xxx, Lea.
