Flower Soup | Family session | Cumbria

What a foggy week we've all had! Here is a bit of brightness from a photoshoot I did back in March on a beautiful early Spring day.
Abi contacted me and asked for some photos of her time visiting her mum in Cumbria with her son Theo. We had no firm plans, just that we would have a play at home then take a wonder to our local beauty spot Talkin Tarn. Theo is a wonderful boy with lots of energy so we let him lead the session! I felt like they really welcomed me into their family that day and we just had a lovely time together.
Planning an activity, even just a small one really helps in a family session, it opens up the opportunity for me to photograph the natural moments.
Here are some of my favourites from this day.

Contax 645. Canon 1V. Kodak Portra 400, 800. Developed and scanned by my favourites UK Film Lab.
