Something I wished for came true recently; a superb film lab opened it's doors in the UK! Not only that, but the 'UK Film Lab' is run by two fantastic photographers: Christian and Erica Ward.
I was lucky enough to be part of their Beta testing period and I have to say they have been brilliant from the off. I have mentioned before just how important the developing and scanning of film is to the end result. It can only turn out the way you envisage if you have people you trust working with your film.
I had that before with The FINDLab in the U.S. which is also outstanding but I am so happy to have Christian and Erica now, in the UK.
They've also started a community of wonderful photographers that I get constant inspiration from and for that I am also very grateful.
Here are some images that I have taken of family and friends recently. Also some shoots that I will share fully over the coming weeks.
